Our Problem is to Present a United Front: Hayrapetyan Urges Unity Instead of Mutual Accusations
Member of the National Assembly from the ruling 'My Step' faction Tatevik Hayrapetyan urged opposition colleagues at the extraordinary session of the NA, where the border situation is being discussed, not to engage in mutual accusations, but to accurately assess the situation and present a united front.
Hayrapetyan made this statement during the extraordinary session convened at the initiative of the opposition 'Prosperous Armenia' faction. She first expressed gratitude for the initiative and noted, 'I believe that our problem now is not to come here with mutual accusations today, but to correctly assess the situation and to present a united front. If our goal of this session is to come and think about who did what wrong, then yes, there may be numerous shortcomings, and there will be time to talk about that.'
She recalled that acting Prime Minister Pashinyan also mentioned that circumstances still need to be clarified. She emphasized that their task is not to find culprits during the parliamentary session but to understand the path ahead. 'It is not the time to look for internal enemies,' said Hayrapetyan.
Hayrapetyan also mentioned that Aliyev's rhetoric is no secret to anyone, as it has existed for decades. 'And if you want to say that Aliyev spoke about Zangezur for the first time, no, Aliyev was talking about Zangezur as early as the early 2000s,' stated the deputy in response to the speech of Naira Zohrabyan from the Prosperous Armenia faction.
