My Step Lawmaker Reveals Who is Negotiating with Azerbaijan on Behalf of Armenia
Negotiations continue, and we hope that the process will conclude with the unconditional fulfillment of the Armenian side's demands. This was stated by My Step lawmaker Armen Khachatryan during a conversation with reporters.
When asked who is negotiating on behalf of Armenia, the lawmaker mentioned the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, corps commanders, representatives from the Russian side, and from the Azerbaijani side.
Khachatryan could not specify which Russian service is involved—whether it is the peacekeepers or the border guards.
He also noted that the negotiations are not only regarding Lake Sevan but concern all areas where representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces have entered the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
