Canada's Foreign Minister on Developments at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
Canada's Foreign Minister Marc Garneau expressed his concerns regarding the situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border on his Twitter page, calling for adherence to ceasefire agreements.
“We are concerned about reports of increased tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan relating to incursions into Armenian territory. We urge all parties to fully uphold the ceasefire agreement reached on November 10 and to continue negotiations for a permanent and peaceful resolution. All actions that could undermine the ceasefire regime and lead to an escalation of tensions must cease,” Garneau wrote.
