US State Department calls for restraint from Baku and Yerevan
The spokesperson for the US State Department, Ned Price, stated on his Twitter page that the department is closely monitoring reports of increased tension along the undefined segment of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
“We are closely following reports of rising tensions along the undefined section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. We understand that communication between the parties is ongoing and we urge restraint to de-escalate the situation,” Price wrote.
