Ashotyan Challenges Pashinyan to Debate on Artsakh Issues
Armen Ashotyan has made a statement regarding Nikol Pashinyan's announcements, questioning his integrity and comments made during a trip to Syunik.
“Is it true that all the insults heard during your visit to Syunik have become reality, or was it Serzh Sargsyan who was giving half of Artsakh to Azerbaijan? One has to be extremely unscrupulous to forget the official responses from our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that of the Russian Federation, while claiming that the issue of Shushi has ever been discussed in negotiations. You must be a total degenerate to still speak in hysteria about the idea that Azerbaijanis should later self-determine internally in Artsakh; that is as absurd as claiming that Armenians compactly living in Krasnodar or Los Angeles could 'self-determine' in Russia or the USA.
One must have the thickness of the skin of a bull to still talk about weapons of the 1980s after the scandals over Iskanders, toy SU aircraft, and worn and repainted OSA-AC missiles produced in the 1970s. You are not only a capitulator, a land traitor, and a betrayer, but also a complete immoral being.
You say you are ready for a debate, right? I publicly challenge you to debate me on the Artsakh issue. My heart tells me that the dissection of a rotten political corpse like yours should be done live! I urge interested media outlets to take steps to realize this challenge,” Ashotyan wrote.
