Azerbaijani Forces Construct Positions Over Khndzoresk Village in Syunik Province

Azerbaijani forces have brought construction equipment and begun establishing positions over the village of Khndzoresk in the Tegh community of Syunik Province since early this morning. This was reported by the Mediaport Telegram channel.

Yesterday, Nerses Shadunts, the head of the enlarged Tegh community in Syunik, stated that there has been no official agreement regarding these areas, and that the border has been delineated using GPS. Following this, there was just a discussion at the level of the military corps, where they agreed to not advance significantly.

“Previously, it was only decided that a flag should be erected in the elevated area and that was it. Now it turns out that their posts will be just 100 meters away from our side, and our army is now positioned just 5-10 meters in front of them to close off the view of the village,” he said.
