Sergey Lavrov to Make Working Visit to Yerevan and Baku
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, will arrive in Armenia and Azerbaijan for a working visit in the first half of May. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced this during her regular press briefing today. She informed that Lavrov will be in Yerevan on May 5-6 and in Baku on May 10-11.
During the Russian Foreign Minister's visit, negotiations are planned with the leaderships of Armenia and Azerbaijan. A wide range of issues regarding bilateral and regional cooperation will be discussed in detail, as well as matters related to cooperation on the international platform. Zakharova noted that special attention will be given to the practical implementation of joint statements made by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
