If those like you come to power when we leave, they will destroy Armenia much sooner than we will. My Step MP

We who leave, people like you who think about how to come to power, will destroy Armenia much sooner than we will, because I and people like me live within the word "Armenia," not outside of it. This was stated by My Step MP Hakob Aslanyan in an interview with "Hraparak."

- You claim that there is an uprising in Syunik against Pashinyan. Is everyone in Syunik an uprising?

- You should listen to the opinion of all Syunik residents.

- Where were the supporters of the government, why didn’t they come out to the streets to support the Prime Minister that day?

- Don’t you know where those people were? They were scared because former bandit groups still operate.

- So, we have such incompetent leadership that bandit groups operate in Armenia.

- Our misfortune is that we did not proceed with the principles of a real revolution; from the very beginning, we should have confiscated everyone’s property and put them in their place, so they wouldn’t come out and cause upheaval and blame us for everything today. Yes, perhaps our fault is that we turned Armenia into a bastion of democracy. And, in your opinion, why did the Azerbaijanis accelerate the war? They realized that if a few more years pass, Armenia, with the force it is currently demonstrating in its defense and all other sectors, would not be able to do what happened. If Armenia’s decline continued as it did previously, Azerbaijan would not have started the war. Azerbaijan and Turkey understood that Armenia is soaring up and must stop this upward flight. This was the basis for the war; they saw that the newly elected powers are strengthening Armenia.

- Will you stop strengthening Armenia? They seized Artsakh; tomorrow they might see we’ve become very strong and take Armenia from us. Go away so Armenia survives.
