‘5th Channel’ has prepared a report about Grigor Darbinyan, a resident of the border village of Shurnukh, which portrays the reality in these frontier villages. Engaged in animal husbandry, Grigor shares that he has built a home and has a livelihood, yet today he must leave everything behind as his family's and children's lives are in danger.

“A few days ago, the child crossed the road, go bring the lamb, the Turks have come out to take my child away. I said, ‘Give me a weapon, let’s go shoot the Turks so their parent can see the Turk taking their child,’” he states, adding that they are unarmed, with only a stick in their hands, yet they stand against the enemy armed with guns and armored vests. “After that, am I safe?” he asks.

Each wall of the Shurnukh resident's house is equipped with cameras to monitor that the enemy does not enter their home or harm them. Grigor indicates that they have reached the limit of their patience and are seeking guaranteed security from the authorities to continue living in Shurnukh. In the footage, it can be seen how a farmer's pig was shot and injured by the Turks.

The villager, who feels the enemy's breath and presence behind him every moment, does not want harm to come to his children, and fears that later “the authorities will come and offer condolences before leaving.” Grigor, expressing frustration, says, “They still say, ‘Go vote for Pashinyan,’ how can I go choose when at night, thieves have entered and looted two houses?” He emphasizes that he would gladly present his terms to Pashinyan if he would come.
