30 People Evacuated Due to Fire in Northern Avenue

On April 14, at 17:56, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that smoke was visible from one of the buildings on Yerevan's Northern Avenue. Firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Department in Yerevan, including four combat teams and one aerial ladder, were dispatched to the scene along with operational teams from the Crisis Management National Center, a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division, and a medical support team.

According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in the chimney of a building adjacent to the "La Piazza" Italian restaurant located at 5 Northern Avenue. Rescuers evacuated approximately 30 residents. The fire was contained by 18:32.
