Anahit Avanesyan's Mother Vaccinated with Russian Sputnik V, While Citizens Given AstraZeneca
According to information received by "Iravunk," the mother of Armenia's Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, Margarit Vardanyan, who is also the president of the Pharmaceutical Association and director of the Arpharmacia pharmaceutical company, has recently been vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19.
This is noteworthy given that the Sputnik V vaccine has a 90% efficacy rate and is considered completely safe; to date, there have been no reports of adverse outcomes. In contrast, however, the British-origin AstraZeneca vaccine, which has only a 75% efficacy rate, is being used on Armenian citizens. Reports from European countries detail dozens of fatalities and incidents of thrombosis and other health issues associated with this vaccine.
For instance, a doctor vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine died in Norway. Furthermore, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has outright banned the administration of this vaccine for individuals over the age of 60 in her country, citing its dangers, particularly for that age group.
