I exclude the process of ceding regions from Tavush. This was stated by the governor of the region, Hayk Chobanyan, during a conversation with reporters.

"I exclude it, under no circumstances will this happen as long as I am responsible there and I live in this country. If there is any danger at the border of Tavush, I will be the first to stand against that danger to neutralize it.

The topic should be closed for the Armenian people and for Armenia; it should not become a subject of discussion. The only place where we have to discuss these issues is not internally, but externally. We should not behave in a cowardly manner through these discussions, which is detrimental to us, and pour water into the enemy's mill. I want this topic to be completely closed," he said.
