Car Crashes into Advertising Billboard Column in Armavir, Two Dead
On March 21, at 23:54, the Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center received a call that a car had crashed into an advertising billboard column at the intersection of Yerevan and Mashtots streets in Armavir city, resulting in injuries.
Two fire and rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was established that a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle (driver: H.H.) had veered off the roadway and collided with the advertising billboard column.
Before the rescuers arrived, the passengers (M.B., born in 1986, E.T., born in 1987, and one unidentified passenger) were taken to Armavir Medical Center, where doctors evaluated M.B.'s condition as satisfactory, while E.T. was taken to "Erebuni" Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as serious. The unidentified passenger succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
The rescuers retrieved the driver's body from the vehicle, secured the area, and disconnected the vehicle from power.
