What to Do to Find a High-Paying Job in Armenia: Minister's Call
The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, states: “Dear compatriots,
The high-tech industry is the fastest-growing sector in Armenia. In 2020, the sector recorded an increase of more than 21%, with over 3,400 new specialists entering the field, and the average salary in the sector exceeds 800,000 drams (including taxes). Attached are the results of a survey conducted by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry among around 150 companies, highlighting the most in-demand fields, professions, and technologies/platforms in Armenia.
Judging by the presented figures, as well as the dynamics of the sector's growth, it can be confidently asserted that the most sought-after profession in Armenia is engineering within the high-tech domain. I urge our citizens to pursue education and specialize particularly in physics, mathematics, radio-electronics, microelectronics, mechanics, cybernetics, computer technologies, and other technological fields, being assured that they can find quality jobs in Armenia in the future.
For those wishing to change their profession, I recommend familiarizing themselves with the courses at edu.hti.am and keeping an eye on the ministry’s upcoming announcements.”
