New Questions Arise Following NSS Announcement on Filming by Azerbaijani-Speaking Individuals in Syunik Province
New questions have emerged following the announcement from the National Security Service (NSS) regarding the filming conducted by Azerbaijani-speaking individuals in vehicles. Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the "Henarq" analytical center and former security advisor to the President of Artsakh, shared this on his Facebook page.
The NSS provided clarification about the footage that was shot in the Syunik province, specifically concerning the locations of Syunik-Jakaten in the Kapan municipality. It stated that the recording was carried out by Azerbaijani soldiers, accompanied by Russian border guards, during a trip that had been pre-approved while attending a tripartite working meeting organized a month ago.
Following the official announcement from the NSS, new questions have arisen. First, what working meeting took place a month ago in the Armenia-Azerbaijan-Russia format, and why was there no official announcement regarding this? What was the subject of the meeting, and what outcomes did it produce?
Second, why did the NSS allow Azerbaijanis to conduct filming in our territory during the working meeting? Let me emphasize that if no such permission was granted, and they filmed anyway, that is even worse.
Third, where did the working meeting take place and who authorized the movement of the enemy through our territory?
Fourth, does the Armenian side have the capability to conduct similar movements within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and if yes, have we been able to film Azerbaijani various objects?
