Armenian Ambassador Presents Internal Political Developments of Armenia to Bob Menendez in the U.S.

On February 25, the Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, Varuzhan Nersesyan, had a phone conversation with Senator Bob Menendez. The Ambassador congratulated Senator Menendez on his election as the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

During the conversation, Ambassador Nersesyan presented the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh created as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression and emphasized the importance of the involvement of the international community, including the United States, to overcome these challenges.

The Ambassador drew the senator's attention to the issue of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians who are in captivity, highlighting the urgency of taking necessary measures for their immediate repatriation.

At the senator's request, Varuzhan Nersesyan provided insight into the ongoing internal political developments in Armenia.
