Navalny's Ally Refuses to Comment on Video Involving British Diplomat
The executive director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Vladimir Ashurkov, has declined to comment on a video in which he allegedly speaks with an employee of the British Embassy. His statement was quoted by Echo of Moscow.
"I have a principle of not commenting on the dirt thrown at me and my colleagues by state propaganda. Of course, the release of this video is related to Alexei Navalny's return, mass protests, and the verdict," Ashurkov explained.
On February 1, RT released a video purportedly filmed in a restaurant in Moscow in 2012. "If we had more money, we would, of course, expand our team. A person who spends… I don’t know, $10-20 million annually for support would see a completely different picture," he added.
