Photos. Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Opel Crashes with Passenger Gazelle

Today, on January 11, a major car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At around 16:30, on the 36 km segment of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, within the administrative area of Charentsavan, an Opel and a passenger Gazelle collided.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the collision caused the Gazelle to overturn. The emergency situations ministry's Rescue Service, Fire and Rescue Team No. 5 from Hrazdan, arrived promptly at the scene with two fire units.

As a result of the accident, eight individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the Charentsavan Medical Center. The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured.
