Earthquake Recorded in Southwestern Turkey
On January 12, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Pamukkale area of Denizli province, southwestern Turkey. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 09:30 local time.
The tremors were registered at a depth of 7.24 kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in the neighboring provinces of Denizli. There have been no reported material or human losses.
