Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan Signs New Decision
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has signed a decision regarding the program for the import of cargo addressed to the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund. According to the decision, based on points 1 and 3 of paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Law on Charity of the Republic of Armenia:
- The import program of the following goods sent by the "Hayastan" Fund to the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund is classified as charitable:
- Electric wheelchairs to be distributed free of charge to disabled veterans of the Artsakh liberation struggle—4 units, with a total weight of 485 kg, equivalent to 1,200 USD in value, with transportation costs amounting to 300 USD, through the Western Customs Office.
- Crutches to be distributed free of charge to disabled veterans of the Artsakh liberation struggle—total weight of 44.8 kg, equivalent to 250 USD in value, including transportation costs, through the Ararat Customs Office.
- Thermal suits, sleeping bags, and hygiene supplies to be used within the framework of charitable programs implemented by the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund—total weight of 2,731.8 kg, equivalent to 15,200 USD in value, including transportation costs, through the Ararat Customs Office.
- The "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund must submit summarized information on the registration of these cargoes within one month after completing the procedures, in accordance with point 25 of the procedure approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 66-N dated January 16, 2003.
Thus, this decision aims to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid for the benefit of those in need.
