Nikol Pashinyan Has Changed Araik Harutyunyan's Mind: 'Hraparak'
Although Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan announced in his latest address that he has begun consultations with political forces on the agenda of forming a government of national consensus, he continued by stating that in order to alleviate the created atmosphere, he is ready to relinquish his constitutional powers and make personnel and security decisions jointly with the parliament and the Security Council. However, despite several days of active personnel changes, he is still appointing his people and supporters to positions.
In Artsakh, there is confidence that it was Nikol Pashinyan himself who mediated for Haik Khanoian and Mane Tandilyan. Just the other day, he appointed his chief of staff Karen Danielyan as the Minister of Justice and Mikayel Hayriyan, a doctor from the Stepanakert hospital who supported Harutyunyan during the presidential elections, as the Minister of Health.
The political field in Artsakh firmly believes that Nikol Pashinyan has changed Araik Harutyunyan's mind. The latter has advised, based on his experience, to ignore the opposition and move forward with his own agenda.
