VIDEO: US Embassy in Baghdad Targeted by Rocket Fire

On Sunday, at least three rockets were fired from Katyusha launchers towards the US embassy in Baghdad, reports Al-Arabiya. The tactical air defense units deployed to protect the embassy attempted to intercept the launched rockets. There are no reports of casualties.

The media notes that the American embassy is located in Baghdad's Green Zone, where diplomatic missions and state institutions in Iraq are situated. The air defense systems managed to hit the rockets that fell near the Green Zone.

According to the channel, Iraqi security forces are searching for the launch sites from where the rockets were fired.
