Fog in Chayni Pass and Ashtarak, Snow in Jermuk
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that several roads in Armenia are closed due to adverse weather conditions. The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are currently closed.
Fog has settled in the Chayni Pass and the city of Ashtarak in the Aragatsotn region. In Jermuk, located in the Vayots Dzor region, snowfall is occurring.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has indicated that the ban on foreign nationals entering Georgia remains in effect, though this restriction does not apply to freight transport.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires while traveling.
