Eight Officials from the Amasia Community of Shirak Province Trapped in Hin Shen Village
Eight officials from the Amasia community in Shirak Province, who voluntarily went to the front line, have been trapped in Hin Shen village for the past two days. This information was provided to NEWS.am by Jemma Harutyunyan, the head of the Amasia community.
Among those trapped is Vahram Saghatelyan, the administrative head of the Meghrashat settlement within the enlarged Amasia community. According to Jemma Harutyunyan, preparations are underway to extricate them from the blockade.
It should be noted that the village head of Hin Shen reported that Azerbaijanis had closed the road to Hin Shen village for an extended period, effectively leaving residents trapped. For several days, no official information was received regarding the fate of the villages.
Earlier today, Aghakhan President's spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan announced that, with the intervention of the Russian peacekeeping forces, the Azerbaijani checkpoint on the road has been removed, successfully unblocking Hin Shen.
