Early Elections Will Be Held in Artsakh, I Will Not Participate: Arayik Harutyunyan
The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has announced his withdrawal from politics. In a recent statement, he noted, "In a reasonable timeframe, early nationwide elections will be organized in Artsakh, during which I will not run and will withdraw from politics." This change was made in his previously published address.
It is important to mention that in the initial version of his message regarding his resignation, Harutyunyan stated, "At the same time, recognizing the public and political sentiments that have arisen due to the war, I would like to emphasize that I am ready to resign at the very first opportunity when the Republic is prepared, in terms of internal and external conditions and constitutional regulations, to appropriately and honorably overcome the serious challenges of presidential and parliamentary elections."
