Non-Food Prices Increased by 0.6%, Service Tariffs by 0.1%
In the non-food products market, prices recorded a 1.0% increase in November 2020 compared to November 2019, and a 0.6% increase compared to October 2020. This information was reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
In November of this year, compared to October, notable price changes in the country included a 0.1% increase for major household appliances and gardening tools, a 0.2% increase for furniture, glassware, dishes, and household furnishings, a 0.5% increase for jewelry, a 0.6% increase for pharmaceutical products, a 1.0% increase for cleaning and washing agents, a 1.4% increase for various types of footwear, and a 2.1% increase for clothing. At the same time, prices for renovation materials, small household appliances, carpets, and floor coverings decreased by 0.1%.
In November 2020, compared to October, there was a 0.4% increase in gasoline prices and a 3.6% decrease in diesel fuel prices.
In the services sector, there was a 1.5% increase in tariffs in November 2020 compared to the same month last year, and a 0.1% increase compared to the previous month.
