Accident in Noragavit District: 1 Dead, 2 Injured; One Driver Allegedly Intoxicated
On December 13, at 23:41, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report of an accident in the Noragavit district of Yerevan, where vehicles had collided.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Department responded to the scene, as well as a special unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Forces Administration.
It was found that a "Volkswagen Golf" had collided with a "Volkswagen Vento" (driven by Armen G.). As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Volkswagen Vento" and passenger Ani G. were hospitalized at the "Erebuni" Medical Center, where doctors assessed Ani's condition as stable, while Armen G. unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The rescuers cut off the electricity to the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves.
