Russian Peacekeepers Arrive in Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd as Hostilities Cease
Russian peacekeepers have arrived in the villages of Khtsaberd and Hin Tagher in the Hadrut region, which were attacked by Azerbaijani armed forces. Currently, hostilities have ceased. This was reported to NEWS.am by the Mayor of Hadrut, Vahan Savadyan.
“They are now investigating who has violated the ceasefire regime and under whose control the villages will remain,” he said. According to the mayor, the area of the villages was a neutral zone occupied by Armenian soldiers, and there had been no Russian peacekeepers present until after the attack.
It is worth noting that the two villages in the Hadrut region, Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd, remain under Armenian control.
