Students Hold Candlelight Vigil at Yerevan State University in Memory of Fallen Soldiers
At Yerevan State University, young people have held a candlelight vigil in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in the Artsakh war. According to Armenpress, clergy members also participated, offering prayers.
The President of the Student Council, David Apoyan, stated in a conversation with reporters that such events should be a constant part of their agenda, as they are obliged to keep the memory of the fallen soldiers alive.
“They died for all of us, for our peaceful future, and I believe they left no room for us to make mistakes. We need to address our internal issues swiftly, strengthen ourselves, establish our state, and prepare to reclaim our territories, as those lands are our sacred homeland. That land has been forged by the blood of our heroes, and we cannot leave it in the enemy’s hands,” said Apoyan.
