Lukashenko Wishes Patience to Putin
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has declared that Russia is under attack from outside the borders of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), according to EADaily.
"These are not easy times. It is primarily difficult for our close friend and brother, the Russian Federation. You can see that the attacks are directed at Russia from outside; we know this very well in Belarus," he stated at the EAEU leaders' summit.
Furthermore, Lukashenko wished patience to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, during these challenging times. "As our esteemed president (Nursultan Nazarbayev) used to say, Russia is the core of our integration. Therefore, patience and more patience to you. You know that we have always supported Russia and will continue to do so, because integration in the post-Soviet space cannot happen without it," emphasized the President of Belarus.
