General Mobilization to be Replaced by Partial Mobilization
The government made a decision at today's session which stipulates that by December 25, 2020, partial demobilization of military personnel serving in the armed forces and other relevant state bodies through phased recruitment will be ensured.
As a result of the cessation of military operations on November 10, the overall mobilization of reservists and the complete engagement of vehicles with transport obligations have been eliminated, along with the needs for military personnel conducting mobilization military service in certain strategic directions of the armed forces and in other troops, and the system of civil defense and emergency situations.
According to the draft decision, the general mobilization declared on September 27, 2020, will be replaced by a partial mobilization, and the replenishment of wartime staffing of the armed forces is expected to be limited to strategic directions necessary for the application of the armed forces.
