Attempt on the Life of the Speaker of the National Assembly Reported Days Ago: Alen Simonyan
During a conversation with reporters today, Alen Simonyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, spoke about a video that surfaced online showing armed individuals accompanying Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Simonyan stated that Armenia is effectively in a state of war. “Moreover, I can say that there have been instances, for example, when an attempt was made on the life of the Speaker of the National Assembly, just days ago. Additionally, they have entered the government building and the residence of the Prime Minister. Do you consider that there is nothing to worry about when we have Azerbaijan and such a tense situation?”
“We are talking about the actual leader of the country, who is in a state of war,” he emphasized.
