The US Prioritizes Dignified Treatment of Prisoners and Their Safe Return: Lynn Tracy
Today, US Ambassador to Armenia Lynn Tracy discussed developments regarding the exchange of individuals captured due to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the return of remains with a group of lawyers and the Human Rights Defender of Armenia. This was reported by the US Embassy in Armenia.
The ambassador noted that the dignified treatment of prisoners and their safe return are priorities for the United States. Condemning violence against prisoners, she emphasized the importance of holding perpetrators accountable. Ambassador Tracy stressed the United States' commitment to finding a lasting and sustainable political solution to the conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group.
