Video: Dear factions, I urge you to choose me as Prime Minister, Mikayel Margaryan
“The government that has failed in the war is acting obstinately and refusing to step down, while the former ones have gathered in a junta and are trying to regain power in the name of supposedly fixing and advancing the country. Absurd,” said civil activist Mikayel Margaryan during parliamentary hearings today.
“Since the people are currently unable to take to the streets because they are not as immoral as the current and former governments, demanding their power because they are the masters of this country. Therefore, today, breaking my modesty of my entire life, I declare that the people should have their representative. The next prime minister must undoubtedly be a representative of the people, and that power is me,” he declared from the podium of the National Assembly.
“Dear factions, I urge you to choose me as Prime Minister. Why should Mikayel Margaryan be Prime Minister? Because he has lived his entire life in Armenia, loves his country, respects his people, and adores his nation, which we have not seen in any of the governments. Mikayel Margaryan is a father of many, and he thinks about his future; Mikayel Margaryan is not just a soldier, but the father of a soldier,” he added.
