The State Promises to Support Businesses in Addressing Issues Arising from the Pandemic and War: Tigran Khachatryan
The Government of Armenia assures that it will do everything possible with targeted policies to support businesses in addressing the challenges arising from the pandemic and the war.
This was stated by the Minister of Economy, Tigran Khachatryan, during a joint session of the permanent committees of the National Assembly discussing the draft law on the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2021.
Khachatryan first noted that two major external factors have impacted this year's economic situation and will continue to do so in 2021. First, the pandemic at the beginning of the year necessitated significant adjustments to the package aimed at supporting the economy, which the government was directing towards issues of exports, small and medium business development, as well as various measures concerning tourism.
