Artillery Planning Work Executed with High Mastery: Modern-Day Heroes
The Armed Forces have announced new names of our modern-day heroes for conducting precise and planned artillery operations during combat, which led to the significant defeat of numerous enemy forces. Colonel Arshavir Anatolii Gulian has been nominated for the "Combat Cross" of the 1st degree.
Lieutenant Colonel Manuk Ashoti Melikonyan has also been nominated for a similar state award for heroically defending friendly forces in the southeastern direction.
For destroying one enemy tank with a tank crew and performing other effective actions, Senior Sergeant Arman Hranti Nersisyan, Private Narek Arayi Avagyan, and Private Artyom Joniki Adamyan will be awarded the "For Courage" medals.
For evacuating injured servicemen under enemy fire using an ambulance, Contract Senior Sergeant Karen Eduardi Patyan has been nominated for the "For Courage" medal.
Senior Sergeant Avag Gagiki Minasyan, Private Smbat Vovayi Arakelyan, Sergeant Mher Ashoti Agajanyan, Junior Sergeant Sevak Grishayi Margaryan, and Sergeant Samvel Gariki Lalabekyan will be awarded the "Combat Service" medals by the President for destroying enemy D-30 firing positions, artillery observation posts, and columns.
