Around 60 Percent of Artsakh's Population Has Left Their Homes: Artsakh Ombudsman
According to our preliminary assessment, around 90,000 residents of Artsakh have left their homes due to Azerbaijan's deliberate and indiscriminate attacks and ongoing threats. This was stated by Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan on his Facebook page.
“Since many are interested in this issue, I would like to mention that according to our preliminary assessment, around 90,000 residents of Artsakh have left their homes due to Azerbaijan's deliberate and indiscriminate attacks and ongoing threats. This constitutes about 60 percent of Artsakh's population, which includes residents from other areas of Artsakh and those who have relocated to Armenia. The international community must make every possible effort to stop Azerbaijan's atrocities as soon as possible and to return these people to their homes,” he wrote.
