Two Apartments Catch Fire Following Shelling in Martakert City: Artsakh Emergency Service
The night of October 22 to 23 was restless in Martakert and Martuni regions. This information was provided by the Artsakh State Emergency Service.
As a result of the shelling of Martakert city, two apartments in a multi-apartment building located at 7 A. Sakharov Street caught fire. Firefighters from the Martakert regional emergency department managed to quickly extinguish the flames to prevent the fire from spreading to other apartments.
Preliminary data indicate that the enemy opened fire in this direction using Grad-type artillery. There were no human casualties reported.
At dawn, the villages of Karmir Shuka and Taghavard in the Martuni region came under fire from Azerbaijan. Here, Smerch-type missiles are being used. Currently, several villages in the Martuni region, including K. Shuka, are being shelled by Smerch missiles.
