VIDEO: Report from Martakert

RT correspondent Igor Zhdanov has filmed a report from Martakert. The city, located in the north of Artsakh, has been under intense shelling for several days.

“Martakert is situated between Azerbaijani and Armenian artillery positions. The sides continue to exchange shelling practically without interruptions. Throughout the filming, shelling towards the settlement continued. The sounds of explosions can be heard in the footage. Several projectiles exploded literally 50-100 meters from the crew's vehicle. Hundreds of explosive remnants were left throughout the city and surrounding areas. Besides Martakert, several neighboring villages are also suffering,” he reported.
