EU Remains Committed to Quick Ceasefire Between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Macron Says
French President Emmanuel Macron has declared that the European Union continues to hold the view that a ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan should be established as quickly as possible.
According to Reuters, Macron also mentioned that the recent EU summit reaffirmed the EU's support for Cyprus and Greece regarding the existing disagreements with Turkey in the Mediterranean Sea.
It is noted that, in addition, EU leaders expressed regret over Turkey's decision to send research vessels to explore energy-rich eastern areas of the Mediterranean adjacent to Greece.
