Vahan Badalyan Seriously Injured, Condition Critical: Enemy Targeted Him Directly

Vahan Badalyan, a Knight of the Combat Cross and President of the United Armenia Party, has been seriously injured. This information comes from the Facebook page of the Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian Party.

"Vahan Badalyan, a devoted warrior of the Artsakh national liberation struggle, has been seriously injured. We wish him a speedy recovery," the publication states.

Political scientist Haik Martirosyan has shared several important details regarding the incident in which Badalyan was injured, noting that the forces led by Badalyan were subjected to an airstrike by the enemy's drone.

"At the time of the attack, Badalyan was conducting a highly responsible combat assignment with the group under his command in the southern direction. Considering the surrounding circumstances, it seems the enemy deliberately targeted Badalyan, recognizing the military and symbolic significance of the target. Badalyan is currently in one of the medical centers in Armenia. He is not conscious at the moment. The necessary medical procedures are being discussed. The injuries are serious. Doctors currently assess his condition as critical," Martirosyan wrote.
