National Security Service Urges Soldiers to Avoid Open Phone Lines with Each Other and Their Relatives

The National Security Service of Armenia continuously receives information indicating that citizens are still establishing phone communication with soldiers on the front line through open channels. During these conversations, discussions surrounding the situation along the border and the locations of the Armenian side's combat positions occur.

“We find it necessary to emphasize that such phone conversations can be monitored by the enemy and may provide an opportunity to target our servicemen. Therefore, we urge once again and strictly warn that our soldiers refrain from establishing open phone lines with each other and their relatives, as well as from engaging in various types of conversations of this nature, which can directly threaten the safety of our brave servicemen and even pose a risk to their lives,” stated the NSS in their announcement.
