Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Summoned to Athens for Consultations
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding unacceptable claims made by the Azerbaijani government. "On October 6, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed strong discontent to the Azerbaijani ambassador in Greece regarding absolutely unfounded and offensive allegations that cyber attacks against Azerbaijan are being carried out from Greece in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, that efforts are being made to recruit terrorist militants, and that the Greek state is allegedly showing tolerance towards the preparation of terrorist activities.
In continuation of the statement of discontent, according to the decision of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, the Greek ambassador to Azerbaijan, N. Piperigos, has been recalled to Athens for consultations."
