Don't Trust Voice Messages and Calls from Strangers, Samvel Martirosyan Warns
It is highly likely that you will receive calls or voice messages in pure Armenian. Media expert Samvel Martirosyan has warned against believing information received from unknown sources on his Facebook page.
He made a post on his Facebook page, which we present in full below:
“Now, a very important thing regarding voice messages and calls via messengers. It is highly probable that you will receive such calls or messages in pure Armenian. And it's clear that an Azerbaijani cannot speak in pure or fluent Armenian. But what they are doing is connecting with a lot of people through fake accounts. They offer a written text, ask them to read it out loud, record it, and send it back to them. They pay in return. People don’t even realize what they are doing, as they are communicating with Armenian-sounding accounts. To put it briefly: DO NOT BELIEVE ANY VOICE MESSAGE OR CALL FROM A STRANGER. EVEN IF THEY SAY GOOD THINGS. They do that too, they send appealing or trustworthy information to normalize the interaction.”
