Haqqin.az Falsifies Claims: Vagharchak Harutyunyan Did Not Discuss Targeting Civilian Population

The Azerbaijani propaganda news site haqqin.az has disseminated false statements attributed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's advisor, Vagharchak Harutyunyan. The site published an article titled 'Our goal is to strike at the peaceful population of Azerbaijan,' featuring clips from Harutyunyan's interview with 'Rossiya 1.'

By editing the remarks made during the interview, the media outlet created the impression that the advisor was emphasizing that Armenian attacks are directed at the peaceful population of Azerbaijan.

The 'Information Verification Center,' after reviewing the complete video footage, reports that Harutyunyan's words were distorted and taken out of context. He was actually speaking about the adversary's actions and tactics, emphasizing that the Azerbaijani side targets civilians to instill panic.
