Blogger Alexander Lapshin Predicts When Azerbaijani Attacks on Artsakh Will End
Blogger Alexander Lapshin, who holds citizenship in both Russia and Israel, has made a prediction regarding the intensified battles in Nagorno-Karabakh today, suggesting that the Azerbaijani-led attacks initiated on October 6 will be the last.
“Just days ago, I stated that a second attack would be the desperate attempt of the misguided dictator Aliyev to prove to his people that he is a great pharaoh. I believe that Armenian soldiers will have to retreat slightly—by 5-7 km—toward the second and third lines of defense. However, by the evening of October 8, the Azerbaijanis will become exhausted, and the attacks will cease. At that time, the Armenian units will launch a counteroffensive and return to their initial positions. I think that by October 11-12, the war will be completely over and a ceasefire will be enforced upon both parties,” wrote the blogger.
He expressed hope that by that time, Armenian soldiers would not only return to their original positions along the border but also seize strategic points within Azerbaijan, particularly near the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan gas pipeline and the Mingachevir Hydro Power Plant.
