The Injuries We See Are Beyond All Humanitarian and Universal Values: Armen Muradyan
The rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, stated during a press conference that the weapons used by the adversary and the resulting injuries are beyond humanitarian and universal values, considering their nature and harmful essence.
"The use of these weapons is inhumane, especially at a time when we are all practically united against another calamity—the fight against coronavirus. Hospital services are extremely overloaded, and the sanitary norms being implemented cannot be compared to those of 2016," Muradyan said.
He assured that currently, thanks to the healthcare systems of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh and the doctors arriving from abroad, they can provide assistance not only to our soldiers and civilians but also to the injured Azerbaijani soldiers who have been deceived into finding themselves at the front lines.
Addressing the injured children, Muradyan mentioned that they have various injuries, and unfortunately, there have been cases resulting in death. "Our pediatricians will do everything they can so that these children forget this horror," the doctor emphasized.
