The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Shushan Stepanyan, made a statement on her Facebook page, stating: "The Ministry of Defense of Armenia officially declares that the claims made by official Azerbaijani circles, alleging that the territory of Azerbaijan is being targeted and shelled from the 'Tochka-U' tactical missile system located in the Republic of Armenia, are an obvious lie and do not correspond to reality.

Despite the fact that for several days, the surrounding areas of the city of Vardenis have been targeted by Azerbaijan using UAVs and artillery of various calibers, NOT A SINGLE missile has been launched toward Azerbaijan from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The Ministry of Defense strongly urges the Azerbaijani side to refrain from such provocations and not to provoke the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia with the consequences of real missile strikes."
