Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Have Commenced Mass Atrocities Against the Peaceful Population of Artsakh
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Anna Naghdalyan, has issued a statement noting: "On October 2, the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan continued to criminally target the peaceful settlements of the Republic of Artsakh. This time, strikes were carried out against the capital Stepanakert and the city of Hadrut, resulting in injuries among the civilian population.
The Azerbaijani armed forces, bolstered by foreign militant terrorists and unable to achieve any success on the battlefield during the six-day clashes, have embarked on committing mass atrocities against the peaceful population of Artsakh. The attacks are primarily executed using military equipment and armaments provided to Azerbaijan within the framework of military-technical cooperation with Turkey, coordinated by Turkish military specialists.
At the same time, in an attempt to justify the gross violations of international humanitarian law committed during the unleashed war against Artsakh, Azerbaijan is spreading false information claiming the targeting of its civilian settlements by Armenian forces. The Republic of Armenia categorically condemns this crime of the Azerbaijani-Turkish alliance and reaffirms its determination to neutralize any existential threats directed at the people of Artsakh through all means in cooperation with the authorities of Artsakh."
