A New Headquarters Established by Nikol Pashinyan's Decision, to Be Led by Eduard Aghajanyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has signed a decision to establish a social and material support headquarters and to approve its individual composition.
Guided by Article 7, Paragraph 16 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the following measures will be undertaken:
1. Considering the military operations initiated by the armed forces of Azerbaijan in the direction of the Republic of Artsakh on the morning of September 27, 2020, a social and material support headquarters (hereinafter referred to as 'the headquarters') will be created to provide material assistance to soldiers (those affected by the combat actions), non-military personnel (volunteers), as well as the civilian population, with the approval of its individual composition as per the annex.
2. Following the entry into force of this decision, the head of the headquarters shall:
1) Organize the operations of the headquarters.
2) Present a report on the completed works to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia on a daily basis.
It is noted that Eduard Aghajanyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office, will lead the headquarters.
